There’s nothing like bowhunting when the rut is in full swing. Started my vacation November 3rd and began all day sits on the 4th. Action was good all week and connected on this nice buck the morning of the 8th. He was one of our target bucks and I was glad to see him bump a doe across the food plot from me and head my way. I used a doe bleat to try and make sure he would come in bow range and it worked as planned. After stopping at a licking branch and making a scrape at 20 yards, I was able to make a good shot and he piled up within 100 yards. Gun season begins this Saturday and I can’t wait to see what shows up!
